We believe that the Church has a mandate to care for the materially poor which is why we love to partner with Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) which has a vision "to end homelessness in Montgomery County by building a community where everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home."
WAYS WE PARTNER: - Monthly Breakfast Prep every first Sunday - Monthly Hot Breakfasts served at the men's emergency shelter every second Saturday - Quarterly Hot Meals served at the men's emergency shelter Check the calendar for more dates & information. |
We have a deep desire to bless our neighbors. The Neighborhood Grant has been established to help launch you to share and show Jesus through relationships in your particular context or neighborhood. Apply today!

MISSION PARTNERSHIPS
Individuals & ministries Neighborhood Church financially supports monthly & visits on a regular basis.

El Salvador has a hard history of civil war, trafficking, religious nominalism, and gang violence. However, Envision El Salvador, a ministry of the C&MA, is excited to witness and be a part of the new things God is doing there. Envision El Salvador’s main program is La Fuente, an after school program that seeks to reach out to middle schoolers at risk of violence at a public school in San Salvador. Envision El Salvador connects interns into hands-on ministry, administrative tasks, and discipleship. They partner with local churches for Vacation Bible School, Church Partnership Evangelism, and more.

WHEN IS THE NEXT EL SALVADOR MISSION TRIP?
July 7-14, 2026
WHO:
This is a great trip for high schoolers, but adults are welcome to join too!
WHAT:
The main program is an after-school program to reach out to middle schoolers that are at risk of violence. VBS and other church partnerships will also be in play during our time there. More info will come as we continue to get closer to the travel date.
WHY:
El Salvador is one of the Envision locations that Neighborhood Church supports. This trip is not a vacation but an opportunity to stretch and grow as we learn about what God is already doing in another place in the world. We will be going to serve, support, and encourage our partners as well as working hard and learning with humility.
HOW:
Fill out the interest form! This is not committing you to the trip or guaranteeing your participation in it, but an interest in learning more about the trip. There will be an official sign up at the interest meeting to come (date and time TBD). The total trip cost will be about $1,300 (including airfare, missions support, and all travel expenses).

When people think of France, they often think of architecture, history, and food. However, France is the fourth largest atheist country in the world. There is one evangelical church for every 30,000 people, and less than one percent of the total population claim to have a personal relationship with Christ. But there are many international workers serving in this wonderful country sharing the good news of Christ.
