WE DESIRE TO BE PEOPLE WHO ARE CENTERED ON JESUS

He is the one that our existence is all about. As a part of being followers of Jesus, we gather our beliefs from the Bible, which is where Jesus is written about. Here are some things that the Bible teaches:
THE BIBLE We believe that God inspired normal humans to write down his truth for all of us. He did not overrule their personality but worked through them to communicate his truth. The Bible is accurate to the original intent and an authority for all faith and life. GOD We believe in an eternal God that exists in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father is completely perfect and rules over everything. |
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus is God in flesh. That he was conceived by the Holy Sprit and born of a virgin. That he grew up and demonstrated God to us. He performed countless miracles, and was the sinless sacrifice who was crucified for the sin and rebellion of the world. Three days later he rose from the dead. Now he is in heaven where he stands in the gap for humanity and one day he is coming back!
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God and lives inside all who believe in Jesus. He is sent to guide, teach, and empower people to live out the mission of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is also sent for those who do not know God to convince the world of sin, righteousness, and of judgment.
SALVATION
Anyone who calls on Jesus will be saved from their sin, selfish ways, and eternal separation from God. Salvation begins the moment when someone receives Christ and means that one day we will be with Jesus forever.
THE CHURCH
The Church is the called out people of God living out the purposes of God in a world that needs a savior. All who believe in Jesus from all ethnic groups make up the Universal Church, and we, as a small local gathering of believers, are a part of this universal church. The Church is called the body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, and many other names. The church is organic, organized, and mobilized to live out the mission of God to make followers of Jesus who make his name famous from their neighborhoods to nations.
THE AFTERLIFE
Jesus makes a promise that those who believe in him will have eternal life. For those who do not believe, there is eternal separation from God. God desires everyone to come to know him through Jesus Christ and spend eternity with him, but we must make a choice.
THE CHRISTIAN & MISSIONARY ALLIANCE STATEMENT & PERSPECTIVES
We are also a part of the global family of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA/the Alliance) that focuses on Jesus as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King.
