As disciples of Jesus, we want to be empowered by His Holy Spirit & launched on mission from the neighborhoods to the nations. One way to grow in & share your unique spiritual gifts with others is to volunteer with a Neighborhood Church ministry team. Check out descriptions of the various ministry teams below and complete a quick questionnaire. Once a completed questionnaire is submitted, a ministry team leader will contact you with more details.

WELCOME & CONNECTIONS TEAM
Team Leader: Rose Uchieng The members of the Welcome Team are the first people who share and show Jesus by welcoming church attendees right from the front door of the church. They help with setting up coffee and snacks for both Sunday Gatherings. They also help put out and return the welcome signs and flags as well as taking the attendance for both services. NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS Team Leader: Karin Sauder Volunteers serve in a variety of ways to support and encourage the spiritual growth of kids and families both in the church and in the community. This includes teaching children on Sunday mornings, supporting and resourcing parents, and organizing church and community events that are geared toward children and families. NEIGHBORHOOD YOUTH Team Leader: Tim Allen Neighborhood Youth is a place where students come to meet Jesus, either for the first time or in a new way; get to know Jesus on a deeper level; and learn to share Jesus with those around them. If you have a desire to help support, encourage and empower the next generation, we'd love to hear from you and see how you can be a part of the leaders of Neighborhood Youth. NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS Team Leaders: Pam Homan, Matt Sale & Mark Trinkl Neighborhood Groups are the primary way that we "live life together" at Neighborhood Church. Neighborhood Groups provide an avenue for us to live on mission together and minister to one another through prayer and support. This spring/summer we have introduced Neighborhood Triads as another layer of discipleship, to go deeper in relationship with God and two other people. Neighborhood Group volunteering includes hosting and/or leading a group as well as facilitating a Neighborhood Triad. |
WORSHIP & PRODUCTION TEAM
Team Leader: Melanie Neely The Worship & Production Team at Neighborhood Church is a multi-ethnic & multigenerational team utilizing music, technology & creativity as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit with one heart and one mind to invite and lead in declaring His worth. Believing we are launched on mission with God, our primary purpose is to serve God and the congregation in musical worship and expression and to provide a serving community for musicians and production team members in the church. Acts 1:8 assures us that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit and given the vision to reach others with the gospel through our leadership and worship to God. If you would like to use and develop your musical or technical skills (audio, presentation and live stream) the Neighborhood Church Worship & Production Team is a great place to jump in! MISSIONS TEAM Team Leader: Natalie Neighborhood Missions Team is involved in mobilizing our congregation both locally and globally. We are currently working on finding ways to reach our community effectively and looking at increasing our yearly short term missions trip to two trips per year. We desire to see God be glorified as He prepares and brings the nations into His Kingdom. BUILDINGS & GROUNDS TEAM Team Leader: Mark Neely The Building and Grounds Team assists with the upkeep and repair of the Neighborhood Church buildings and physical property. COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING TEAM Team Leader: Linnea Allen More often than not, before a first-time guest will ever visit Neighborhood Church in person, they will visit through our website, social media accounts or printed materials. By joining the communications & marketing team, you can help create a warm welcome that communicates who we are as a church, but most importantly, one that shares & shows Jesus! This team is great for anyone that enjoys working a bit more behind the scenes, taking photos, or connecting with others through social media. |
